This fellowship serves as a tribute to Neal Casal’s legacy, embodying his kindness, compassion, creativity, and genuine spirit. The chosen fellow will work closely with Backline’s clinical and case management teams, contributing to the creation of mental health programs, facilitating case management calls, and expanding our clinical network. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to carry forward Neal’s memory and help support music industry professionals connect with mental health and wellness resources to make a lasting impact on the music community while developing professional skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.
This is an exciting opportunity with a fast-growing non-profit organization serving an acute need. This is a contract position which can be tailored to fit your schedule, requiring at least 10 – 12 hours per week with two required meetings on Mondays and Tuesdays; other scheduled hours can be flexible. This role is fully remote and paid on a monthly stipend basis. This is a one year contractual position beginning 1/4/27 and ending 12/31/27.

The Brand Marketing Manager is responsible for evolving the Backline brand across all channels and touchpoints. This role ensures brand consistency, drives awareness and affinity, strengthens market positioning, and translates the company’s vision into compelling campaigns that drive measurable growth.
This is both a strategic and executional role in direct report to the Executive Director – setting direction while leading cross-channel activation that ladders back to clear business goals and KPIs.
